Homemade avocado recipe

You love ice cream, but you are dairy-intolerant or vegan? La Crémière has been offering for several years now its TOFRUIT based on soy milk and real fruit. We will surprise you by offering you this recipe to make at home with avocados, mint and chocolate chips, VEGAN without dairy products and without nuts.

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium avocados (approximately 11 ounces pitted, 2 cups cut into pieces)
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1/4 cup of coconut butter (you can use coconut oil)
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup (or honey or coconut nectar)
  • 1 tablespoon of peppermint extract
  • A handful of fresh mint leaves (optional)
  • 3 to 5 tablespoons of chocolate chips (or as many as you want!)

Preparation:

  1. Enjoy and remove the avocado flesh. Peel the banana.
  2. Put all ingredients, except chocolate chips, in a high-speed blender or in a Vita-mix.
  3. Mix until creamy. Make sure it is well mixed.
  4. Put in a big deep bowl
  5. Include chocolate chips.
  6. Place the bowl in the freezer
  7. Mix every 30 minutes until the desired consistency.
